This is the visual language of an identity manual applied to a tea counter: one idea per page, executed at full size. The tea name is set in black hanzi so large that it runs off the edge, and the five flat colours appear only as blocks at the cuff and the hem, never as ornament. On the back we drew with the tea instead of printing it, spiralling loose leaf into a square around a teapot pictogram. Dark pressed leaf is matte enough to behave like ink, which is the only reason that trick reads. Everything else on the site is white space and a hairline rule.
